I had a plumbing accident back in May of 2021, I called IAT insurance group to file a claim. My whole bathroom was flooded we reached out to IAT again 2 days later and no one responded. I couldn’t be left without using a bathroom so I called a contractor to come and fix it for us. Luckily they were able to give us an estimate and fix the problem. The worst insurance I have ever dealt with. First off I takes days up to a week to get any answers out of them. Then it takes weeks to get the check to you, which is made out to the mortgage company at which you have to mail to the mortgage company to endorse which that take a week or so before you get that back, then you have to wait for the check to clear the bank which another 3-10 business days. 4 weeks before you have access to the funds to get the project done. Andrew Lubin and Stephanie Bowns do not return calls. It is over a month since someone came to my house to assess damage. No updates. Due to another storm there is MORE damage to my home and no one is responding to my phone calls and many voicemails.

Texas Freeze situation uncovered a grave situation that started on the roof from the earlier double head Hurricanes (Laura and Delta). I am the insured with this company IAT Insurance Group. This company along with the sub-culture of being difficult to with is so unreal!!! Example both my family and I have been out of our home since 06/06/2020, I have called both the adjuster Stephanie Bowns and her Supervisor Jennette Gomez, and everytime that we talk it is completely fruitless.
