I had my first visit with Dr. Leggat today and I adore him! My old gyno was very cold and clinical. Dr. Leggat is warm, but most importantly thorough. I see that many women claim that he didn't talk them through procedures. No, he doesn't coddle, but he wasn't rough. These appts are uncomfortable but ladies, we all know what's going to happen. Same thing, every time. He's old school, maybe short spoken, but he's not cruel or misogynistic. I very much liked him and will return.

I must agree with at least some of the above. Dr. Leggat with kind and attentive while he took my history, but it was almost a Jekyll-Hyde transformation when it came to the digital exam. I expect some discomfort but this just plain hurt, and it hurt to urinate for two days afterward. He did't talk me through the procedures and put my feet in the stirrups and pulled me knees apart when he could have asked me to do these things myself. I had a terrible experience and it was not just my perception. I had a friend with me and she said she was horrified by the way he treated me. He did not talk me through the process and rushed it to the point it was very painful. I wouldn't let my dog go to him.

I cried after my appointment. I felt violated. It was painful and he sounded like he didn't care. He bereated me for being overweight and did not seem to come from a place of compassion. He seemed cold and cruel. Stay away.

I had a pap and he didn't even tell me when he was starting. It was painful, I cringed, he didn't care and just kept going. He sounded annoyed and told me to relax. His bedside manner was atrocious. I've had many paps but never one that hurt so bad. I would never go back.

I had several health and personal issues during my pregnancy, including gestational diabetes. Dr. Leggat and his nurse were amazing. They took great care of me and I always looked forward to my visits with them.

I would never recommend him to anyone!he is unprofessional and does not listen to patients.he has no bedside manner and does not care about yoy at all. He is cruel and rude for no reason.he truely should not be allowed to practice medacine or any occupation for that matter. I wouldn't trust him to bag groceries...he is that unqualified. If your considering him as a doctor, dont. You are better off with no doctor then a incompetent mean person like him.
