Dr. Horkheimer is my hematologist. I have found him to be knowledgeable, attentive to patient needs and very reassuring. When I recently called his office with a question about my medication , he returned my call the next day and addressed my concerns.
The entire staff is exceptional. Every patient is treated with compassion and respect.
How do I give a million stars?! My first visit and was one of my best experiences in a medical office of any kind. Dr. Horkheimer was obviously professional but with a bedside manner and empathy beyond compare. Took extra time to explain things, and I was not there for something critical. Amazing not to feel rushed by a specialist, along with a kind staff who seem happy to be there. Thank you all so much!
Dr Horkheimer is the best! He really cares. Each time I went To the hospital for other stuff he always arrived to check on me without asking. I can always count on him! His office works with the World Trade Center Health Program for all us first responders. His office always takes care of all the billing for WTC Heath Program. Great doctor old school caring always there when I need him. Very friendly and always goes out of his way to help me. Joe Panick Jr
