I love this place! Its a spa for your hair. Such a relaxing friendly vibe from all the staff. Its also Black woman owned and operated, beautifully decorated, and the music/entertainment is always great. I didnt even talk about the talent. Nadeje can detangle any head without waking you from your nap at the bowl, Im in love with my curly cut by Mimi, and the queen of the silk press and rod set Ernsue to name a few. What an AMAZING experience! Ernsue was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to patiently answer all of my questions. The entire staff was warm, courteous, and welcoming. The salon itself is spotless, and I truly feel confident and safe entrusting them with my hair. It was important to me that when I make an appointment that I am seen at my appointment time. My appointment was at 10:50 am and I was in the chair by 10:55 am. I’m already looking forward to my next visit! 10 out of 10!
I am Nubian is a premier natural hair salon. I will be returning and referring everyone I know. It was an overall amazing experience.
From a simple conversation with a friend, I knew I'd be able to leave the trust of my natural hair to Kanya. The appointment wasn't about simply getting my hair done- I left enriched and motivated to level up my haircare game 10fold!!! She trimmed my ends (although I really wanted the full cut), making me confident that my next wash day will be more manageable. I'm excited to see the growth I will achieve from here!!
