WOW. What an absolute dream to have had THE Maggie at our wedding. She painted our first dance and captured my favorite moment, the lift! Both my guests and vendors alike commented that they’d never seen a live painter at a wedding before, and it was such a delight to be able to watch her while she worked live as people danced and mingled. We hired Maggie to create a live event painting of our wedding ceremony on Saturday. I cried when I saw the finished product. She perfectly captured the love my husband and I felt for each other during the moment, and even portrayed our mothers PERFECTLY. We cannot wait to hang the canvas in our home, and be reminded of our amazingly special day every time we see it. We love Maggie!!
Just so you know before reading this review, Maggie is a friend of ours that we happened to hire to paint our first dance at our wedding. So obviously we are fans of hers as a human but now as a painter! First I must say that Maggie was the talk of our wedding! Everyone loved talking to her and watching her paint during dancing breaks. Choosing to have Maggie paint live at our wedding was one of the best choices we made! Not only do we have a custom peice of art that we will cherish forever, but all of our wedding guests had the best time watching her paint! We still talk about it to this day with our friends and everyone loves seeing it when they are in our home. I am a wedding planner as well and have Maggie paint multiple weddings for my brides, everyone agrees her work is invaluable.
Maggie painted our first dance at our wedding and wow, what a treasure we have now! Maggie was very easy to work with to book our date and her prices were very reasonable. We were able to pay her via venmo which made making payments and giving her a tip very easy to do - a big perk when you have a lot of different vendors with different payment systems!
