Went to retrieve personal belonging from car. Friendly helpful staff. Quick to bring our car to us too.
My poor Volkswagen was hit in the rear and went off to IAA for evaluation. I still had hope that the car was repairable, so I left my personalized plate on my trusty VW. Unfortunately it was not and my insurance company left it with IAA for disposition. Mona in the office could not have been more cooperative. She made sure that the plates were recovered and even sent them to me, including the crushed plate frame. The service and kindness she displayed were exactly what I needed during the whole mess. It took several days to get access to my totaled vehicle due to not being able to contact someone from the company. Once I was able to connect with a rep and located the office. To my surprise my belongings had been packed up, minus anything that was of value. Many of my personal items and documents were missing/stolen. When I inquired with IAA. I was advised to contact my insurance. Is this a common practice of robbing customers and leaving them to fight with their insurance for replacement? I've contacted the police to fil... read more
