We rent kayaks and SUPs on the calm, safe waters of the Esopus Creek. Perfect for beginners, families and anyone who just wants to have a great time on the water. We also have a few guided tours available that go out in the Hudson. Come out and have some fun with us!

We decided last minute to go kayaking and thankfully there were enough boats for our large group. We filled in the annoying but necessary waivers on our drive down. Kids and adults had a blast with the supplied water guns. 1hour on the water was perfect for the kids, though 1:30 could have been even cooler to be able to swim on the way as opposed to afterwards on the little beach (mucky water). My wife and I had a super-fun time kayaking the Esopus in Saugerties. Calm water, beautiful scenery, and swimmable, too. Renting our kayaks from I Paddle New York was easy and fast -- you can do it all online (including filling out the required waiver forms). Looking forward to doing it again soon.
The lady on the phone here is not nice and is quite unkind. They might provide a great service, but I would recommend greater kindness of spirit and understanding of individual needs in bodies that may be different than yours. My counterpart and I rented a kayak for today, and she is pregnant. A heatwave roared up and we called to reschedule. The woman sort of yelled at us about how she's running a business here and made us feel like her money/business was more important than my counterpart's health while pregnant. This coul... read more
