RUDE radiographer at Calvary MRI Radiographer did not say hello, nor introduce herself by name, or advise that she would be the radiographer. In a loud impatient and very rude tone proceeded to ask the same questions which we had just filled in, through a closed curtain. When I challenged her on her tone she replied “I always talk like this. I’m very direct.” You can be professional and achieve the desired outcome without having to use tone and attitude. Well done to the smiling cheery Staff and efficient technicians for making my complicated imaging visit a breeze.
Delightful operational staff recently (Technician from Launceston) but one particular Reception Staff at Nuclear Medicine needs to remember or actually realise, they should be interacting personally with presenting/departing patients! Lack of common etiquette is inexcusable....please address the patient face-to-face. A person who often would be under stress, would appreciate that normal courtesy.
