Fish is thin, stale-tasting, rolls stuffed with cheap filler instead of seafood, and creamy sauces overpower every natural flavor.Staff rarely circle tables to take second orders, ignore customer calls for basic extras, and the whole dining experience feels rushed and unwelcoming.Other local sushi shops deliver fresher fish, fair pricing and polite service for the same budget—this spot isn’t worth a single visit.

They automatically slap a mandatory 15% gratuity onto every single check before you even receive your food, no matter how minimal or careless the service ends up being. There’s no better place to go in Davis for Sushi. While some shops have closed down, I <3. Sushi has stood tall. Keep going guys, you are incredible!

What a great little spot. Dinner had thick cuts of sashimi yellow tail and salmon was great value and quality for all you can eat. Service was great we went with local friends that come weekly. Place was busy but relaxed with food coming out fast. Great spot for a group of friends or little date night. We will be back cause “I love sushi!” Thanks guys!
