I cannot recommend Allyson at I Do Pretty enough! Every single time I sit in her chair, she gives me exactly what I’m looking for with my cut and color. She is incredibly talented, but what makes the experience even better is how easy she is to talk to. The appointments fly by, and honestly, the atmosphere is so great that I usually don’t even want to leave. If you’re looking for a stylist in Ankeny who truly listens and delivers, go see Allyson!

Communication started off great — I was able to get confirmation for my wedding hair services without any issues. However, about two weeks before my wedding, I reached out to the stylist assigned to me, only to learn that she no longer worked there. I need to start by saying my rating is not at all reflective of my makeup artist, Jija. She was amazing. She forgot to leave a touch up kit which was discussed at the trial but other than that, we were happy with our makeup. My low rating is only for the hair service provided for my wedding. It started with my trial, where the stylist messaged 50 minutes before saying she was battling some personal things and asked if the makeup artist could do it instead.
