Booked an appointment then later told in an email it was classified as an "urgent care" appointment without even being told that when booking in over the phone. Didnt know that meant they make you wait in your car for over an hour and a half PAST your booked appointment time with absolutely 0 updates on what was taking so long or even an apology from anyone there. I-care Has been my vet for years. All of a sudden they have a new vet, Dr. Westcott. Very unimpressed. His bedside manner was not good. Very unprofessional- even swore during our appointment. Previously, I would always be given options when it came to the care of my pet. This time I was not. My cat had a UTI. Instead of giving me choices on how to proceed, I was just told the urine will be sent to a lab. Disappointed and Frustrated — Never Returning We brought our cat in for an eye issue and were shocked by the experience. Dr. Westcott entered the room without a greeting or any acknowledgment, no introduction, no warmth, just complete disinterest. He quickly stated that our cat would need to be sedated for an eye exam, and we were quoted over $850 for the procedure, including sedation, antibiotics, and eye drops. My Chihuahua received prompt efficient care from icare veterinarians. I was very pleased by the detailed emails I received from Dr Westcott regarding my dog’s health. The staff are very knowledgeable, caring and cheerful. I would definitely recommend icare Veterinary Hospital .
