Bought my first and last Hyundai here. Bought a 2025 limited Kona, was a fine car, had no initial complaints. The sales team was fantastic. Welcoming, quick experience with a knowledgeable and super nice finance manager. Too bad I bought a bumper to bumper package and brought my car here for servicing. First oil change on the car, they also mentioned there had been some recalls, so they would go ahead and get that taken care of too. That was great, as we were going on a trip. Husband brought in our Kona. Was in your lot for about 3 weeks, no updates from the online portal, no details when called. Suddenly we were given a $9000+ quote but wouldn't describe what the problem was. All we were told was there was no oil in the motor and the engine needed to be replaced. Every question on specifics were met with "I don't know". Terrible. We were discussing getting another vehicle from here but not after the customer service had been going downhill for years. The whole team went above and beyond. Tonya and Seth are an incredible force multiplier and their synergy is an unmistakable and integral component of Hyundai of New Bern staff. When I picked up my car it was clean and the overall appearance was even better than when I had entered their garage. With this kind of service why would anyone go anywhere else? Thanks Hyundai, they are deserving of praise and appreciation. Who could've known it would require removing the entire seat to change a headrest. . . didn't phase them a bit... read more
