Customer states: I scheduled service through the online portal by entering my vehicle info (Hyundai Ioniq 5) and the appointment was confirmed the day before. After waiting in the line for service, I was told they "don't touch" EVs. Why was I allowed to schedule a service appointment for this specific vehicle? The tech who spoke to me was kind and apologetic so I'm very disappointed I can't ever use this service center.
Good luck getting in. The AI agent scheduled a 7:30 am appointment but the dealership scheduled a 7:00 AM appointment. Didn’t matter either way as they sent 2 cancellations 15 min before the appointment. Called and was told to reschedule, so I did so for 8:15 AM. Got to the dealership, no appointment and they were clearly overbooked. Stood around for 15 min, finally acknowledged but no capacity to do the work scheduled.
If I could leave ZERO I WOULD. I spent 2.5 hours waiting for an oil change when I was one of the first few in the lot for the morning and was told 1-1.5 hours... I didn't pressure and remained patient, even went for a walk.. and was not checked in with until closer to 2 hours. Once I stood up and was spotted looking around then we decided to check in or let me know what was going on. Poor customer service !!! Car is under warranty but they want me to leave the car FOR 2 DAYS without a loaner and engine light keeps turning on and off. The 1ST time I went there and left because cannot help me. Then they called me that they will do something about loaner, after I went there 2nd time, NO HELP was done. New Management POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! DON'T BUY YOUR CARS THERE! They know how to sell cars but when you need service, you will be treated garbage here!
I arrived 15 minutes before my scheduled service time at Hyundai of Lincolnwood and selected the Ride Share option so I could be driven home. After waiting 15 minutes, I asked when the driver would arrive. The employee kept saying “another 15–20 minutes.” This happened three times. In total, I waited over 50 minutes before finally being taken home. Before I left, the employee promised twice that he would call me when my car was ready. Nobody ever called.
