Got a chance to captain the Hyfoil Marine 28 on the Hudson. As an owner of many boats this was easily the most enjoyable ride I've encountered. The 28 had twin 150 ICE Mercurys vs. the available electric drives. Acceleration was immediate with no bow rise quickly achieving a cruising speed of 45 MPH. Avoiding the floating logs in the Hudson was extremely easy with quick response from the wheel.
