I had several repairs that were way over due on my vehicle. Hydes did a through inspection. And gave me a list and suggestions of the repairs that were needed. Im not sure of how competitive the quote the gave was. I did not shop the repairs. But the work and customer service I was given was 5 star. Michael and the staff at the Hixson location , went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right. I had a dashboard light come on as I was leaving. Really great place and employees! I went to one of those $30 oil change places that do a full check of your car for free (right before a holiday weekend) and left w a quote for $2400 worth of work that “needed to be done today for safety.” I called Hydes bc they were close to my house to get a second opinion and they told me to bring it in and they’ll look at it. Turns out I didn’t need half of the work the other place claimed I did, and they fixed the problems I did have for $300 less. This was all done within a few hours!!... read more
My first time at this shop was to plug a tire....they completely surprised me when they completely checked my car and I was very happy about that!!! They were kind and courteous... attentive and patient. A top notch automotive business! I HIGHLY recommend Hyde's Automotive!!!
They saved me a lot of money. Hyde's Automotive will be our go to place for repairs now. if I could give them more than 5 stars I would. The shop we used to use is under new ownership and I don't know anything about them now. So I thought I would try Hyde's since they are a little closer to us. I am glad I did. I will be back!
First time customer. These folks are friendly, professional and explain things clearly. Fair pricing and in my case, they advised against certain work in case a bigger problem with my transmission is about to reveal itself. That level of fair dealing is why I’ll be back.
