I was asked to leave this evening for supposedly being intoxicated. I had not consumed any alcohol. I have blepharospasm, a neurological condition that affects my eyelids. My eyes can look unusual because of my disability. That does not mean I am drunk or on drugs. While I was eating dinner, my waiter asked whether I had been drinking. I said no. We stopped by Hyde Park for dinner and ended up having a really nice meal. I ordered the chicken piccata, and the part I liked most was the lemony sauce—it had a nice balance without being too heavy. We ended up sharing a few bites back and forth and talking about our day while we ate. I remember we kept going back and forth about whether we had room for dessert even though we were already pretty full, which made us laugh. It was a relaxed dinner, and I'd be happy to come back.
