We bought an older house with a generator. We were told it didn't work most of the time and needed to be replaced. The first company I called (not them) said it needed a battery and they came out and replaced the battery. It still didn't work correctly so I called Hyatt's. They came within a couple of days (no emergency), serviced it (it's like a car engine); while servicing it, they saw the battery terminal looked like it had NEVER been cleaned.
