How it started: Easy check in, clean comfortable hotel close to all the shops and restaurants I love. Good breakfast, nice staff. How it ended: At about 11pm I got chased by a weird covid masked man in a wheelchair to my room smh and he stayed outside my door for some time. What was more worrisome is that there was no security at the hotel and only one staff member on site (front desk girl). I’ve stayed here for business several times over the past year and the last three times my bed comforter has been so worn out that the insulation in each of the quilted squares has bunched up into a hard little ball that sucks to cuddle with and doesn’t contain heat. I have shared this with the front desk the last two times I’ve stayed here. Yet, here I am again with a lumpy bed to crash on. Hoping a little google attention may bring about positive change. Great time at this hotel! We came for my daughter's 13th birthday & the kids & I all had a blast! We had adjoining rooms & comfortably fit 7 kids & 2 adults (kids in 1, adults next door). The staff are very kind & the breakfast was great. The girls loved shopping on Bay St, right out the front door. We wished we didn't have to leave!
I paid 198 for a room for 2 people online, then i was charged 40 per day for parking a additional 147 for my guest, I ordered the room for 2 adults, me and my guest. then a deposit of 162 that they did give back i ended up spending 347 for one night. I’ll never go back there.
We had a beautiful room overlooking the Golden Gate. It was very clean. Breakfast was very fresh and delicious. The small town of Emery was lovely.
