We booked a queen suite directly with Hyatt. We got in after a very long day of travel and student outdoor UIL activities to turn the ac on and grab dinner. It was warm in the room. When we got back it was still warm in the room. The ac was frozen. When we asked to move rooms to a working AC they only had a king available. My kids who we booked the room for ended up sharing a pull out sofa bed that sunk down in the middle. The hotel next door to this one cancelled our reservation without notice after driving 13 hours to get there. Thankfully, Hyatt Place had a space for us for the evening. The room was comfortable and the process getting in was quick and efficient. The front desk person Esmè was helpful in sympathizing with us over the cancelation of the nearby hotel, and also gave us a number to call with the booking website that got me a real life person to speak with. Would stay here again based strictly on customer service.
