I had a great stay at the Hyatt Place! The hotel was clean, modern, and comfortable from the moment I walked in. The staff was friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with anything I needed. My room was spacious, quiet, and well-designed with a comfortable bed and a great work area. The complimentary breakfast had plenty of options and was fresh every morning. I also appreciated how convenient the location was—close to restaurants and local attractions. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Extremely disappointing experience and complete lack of accountability. I accidentally left some clothing and jewelry in a drawer in my hotel room. Only four hours later, I realized it and immediately called the hotel. No manager ever called me back — it took almost 16 hours before anyone contacted me, and even then, it wasn’t a manager, just someone saying they “found nothing.” The next day, I finally talked to a manager when I went back to the hotel in person. Staff is very friendly, place is very clean. Close to everything you’d need in downtown Albany.

If you are in between choosing the Hyatt or the Hilton, choose the Hyatt. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was pretty good too and I enjoyed the fact that their kitchen and bar/coffee and tea bar was open until late. I had to bump a star because my window was facing a bar and I had to listen to live music all night but maybe for some people that’s a plus 😆.
