During both check-in and check-out at the hotel, it felt understaffed, resulting in long waiting times. In addition, we found that the shower gel in the room was already empty upon arrival. Calls to room service also went unanswered. At breakfast around 9:00 a.m., nearly all hot dishes had already run out and were not replenished in a timely manner.

This is a great Hotel, really clean, newly built rooms. However the service is horrible. The black lady that works the kitchen is obnoxious and rude. She stares you down as if you are eating her free food. I will not return. The reception staff also ignores you - common courtesy or simple hello cannot be expected from them. Shame.

Definitely my type of hotel, well maintained and the service is great. Brandy at the front desk is first class and made checking in very comfortable.

I'd say this hotel is average. It's not a 5 star, but it's not a 2 star either. Of course, in a college town, and walkable to almost anything you need, there are going to probably be a few things that make you question spending your money with them. It shares space with the AC hotel, like the pool and gym. Elevators on both sides of the property make it easier to get up and down.
