About this business

Hyatt Coin Shop was started in 1959 by William (Bill) E. Hyatt, retired Staff Sergeant of the U.S. Army. Coin collecting had been a passion of his, and his two sons Larry and Terry Hyatt would help him search bags and rolls as well as travel to the nation's capitol to pick up bags of Morgan Silver Dollars in the 1960's. The Hyatt Coin Shop was successful due to Bill's hard work and passion for the hobby, and soon began to expand. Part of the expansion of the store was due to the addition of other product lines - namely Firea... read more

I'm super grateful that they are open and able to supply firearms during a national shortage due to COVID and the racial and political climate of the nation. Most of the staff are super helpful and kind. I have only come across one individual who has made me feel small for not understanding a lot about a new firearm. The only complaint I have is how some of the prices are a bit marked up in comparison to pre-COVID. Idk if this is because of the national shortage, but it's something to be mindful of. Nevertheless I am satisfi... read more

the staff and the owner were extremely helpful. They were particularly busy when I went but the gentleman there were very attentive and nice. The place is HUGE, lots of choices you can get lost and confused but they have plenty of associates to help.

Ian did a great job explaining things and helped with my purchase of a benelli m4. I even got to observe the gunsmith put the gun together out of the box. Great people and good customer service!

As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by Patrick. I came in with the intention of buying a shotgun, but wasn't sure what was right for me. Patrick helped me find the KSG that I brought home that day. No pressure from him to buy and good conversation the hour or so I was there. He even helped me bring my ammo to the car when my hands were full. This is my second gun purchase from this store and I will be back again. Thanks again Patrick.

I have an Ithica shotgun that had very serious water damage. I didn't think it could be brought back to its original condition. I was shocked when they brought it out. It looked brand new! Incredible job. Also, when I went to pick it up, I brought my wife along, as she is interested in getting a hand gun. We dealt with two different guys. Both were very helpful and knowledgeable. Their selection is unbelievable.

Husband stopped in to have a look at what is advertised as the largest gun shop in the country. It was very busy and although, we were just browsing, several employees offered assistance. Husband wanted to check out some hard to find ammunition for one of his rifles. This store had what he needed. Husband is more knowledgeable with this kind of thing. I more or less wandered through the store. There was a lot of military memorabilia on display which was very interesting. The items from WW2 mainly caught my eye. It was worth ... read more
