TERRIBLE customer service...the pharmacist on at 1845 on 10/17/2024 shouldn't be working in Healthcare at all...more worried about getting out on time rather the helping a patient/customer...
I am type 1 diabetic and 4 hours away from home. I ran into an issue with my insulin pen where it jammed and I couldn't get any insulin out of it. I went to hyvee pharmacy to buy a box of syringes to get the insulin out of the pen. The pharmacist was so rude to me and told me she absolutely would not sell me syringes. Then she turned and started complaining to the other worker about me having the audacity to ask to buy needles. I had my insulin pen with me, I could have showed her. Calling in your refill to feel like you’re inconveniencing the person doing their job. Then going to pick it up and have the same issue. No smiles, no greetings, then checked me out and left the counter without even saying I didn’t owe anything. Just slid the pills at me and left. I was like thanks, I guess I don’t owe anything. Working with the public isn’t for everyone. Maybe you should rethink your job profession.
They really should change hours because they're not open on Sundays!
