I recently had wanted to transfer all my scripts to HyVee from a well-known pharmacy chain. This (unnamed) pharmacy was constantly out of meds and I once had to wait over 2 weeks for a common drug. I asked them several times to transfer scripts to HyVee. Finally I called HyVee and I was so glad I did. The pharmacist was extremely very polite and helpful. I felt like I was in capable hands. I’ve never waited less than 20 minutes. The wait times are insanely long.
Most of the reviews are from grumpy old people that think they deserve special treatment. I see it in line all the time. They are just as good (and bad) as every other pharmacy in the area. Just be happy they offer decent prices on their prescriptions. Are the employees a little grumpy? Sure, but they're so understaffed so consider applying if you're that impatient.
Their app is very helpful. I could see they were working on my prescription that the Dr had sent over in the morning. Called in late afternoon to see if it was ready so I could pick up with my groceries. They were very nice. Checked on it and told me waiting for 1 prescription to come in and should be ready by 6 pm. Received my text update when it was ready an hour early. Great experience as usual.
This place has really gone downhill. The staff seems very disorganized, and sometimes even confused.
