New leadership at the store seems to have instilled a negative culture upon the employees. There is no such thing as a “helpful smile in every aisle” at this particular location. That’s a failure of leadership to provide a stable and positive culture to their front line workers.
A helpful smile in every aisle isn't something your staff can show if your structure aka management and moral are complete shit. Not just saying because I've worked through it. But because I've witnessed it on my day to day shopping. Fix your structure and you will fix your moral. Simple.
Hy Vee Corporate, you did the right thing, I commend you for that.
Hy Vee has gone down hill in the last year especially. They don't know how to treat their employees anymore. Treat those that have been there with no respect so that they get fed up and leave or they fire them for ridiculous reasons. I've about reached my limit of supporting their company because of this reason. So sad

Disappointed when someone can come from another state and affect the jobs of employees that are the best, with or without facial hair. I think you lost a lot of respect from the community. Count me in not to shop there anymore...
