We arrived home from the hospital with a newborn baby to a house with no heat/hot water. Our Boiler was acting up and I called multiple places in the area, and nobody had any availability. Hy-Tek came out the same day, and solved the issue very quickly. Owner was upfront about pricing, polite and had great communication. He even waived the emergency fee, which he did not need to do, but we surely appreciated. Will definitely be our "go-to" call for heating/plumbing issues going forward.

Owner is very polite but his hourly rate (I found out later) is almost twice of what another reputable company charges. He came to my property at least 4 times and assured me after every visit that my furnace was fixed, until I gave up and asked him to not come anymore and called another company, who fixed the problem in 15 minutes and was not related to what HyTek was doing.

Average at best. With a name like Hy-Tec and VERY HIGH hourly rate, I really want to give 1 star but when I compare Hy-Tec to the 3 other plumbers I’ve used so far, all of them are about the same – poor in my opinion so I guess that’s the Average. I’ve interacted with Hy-Tec twice. - 1st interaction; I needed to replace my old propane HWH – it was leaking. Hy-Tek has been responsive, professional, and reliable. Tom of Hy-Tek has told us exactly what he needs to do, then does it correctly in an efficient and pleasant way. Hy-Tek is now our go-to for large and small plumbing jobs.
