My furnace stopped working today. The temperature was in the teens. Freezing! I text Tom at Hy-Tek Heating and Plumbing LLC. Told him what was going on and that I tried getting it going myself to no avail. He responded right away saying he would send a couple of guys over, it would be about an hour. Took me a while to find this guy, everyone else I contacted kept making my water heater worse. Tom from Hy Tek was knowledgeable, upfront about pricing, and responsive when I had questions or additional problems. Best of all, he texts! (Which the millennial in me loves)

We arrived home from the hospital with a newborn baby to a house with no heat/hot water. Our Boiler was acting up and I called multiple places in the area, and nobody had any availability. Hy-Tek came out the same day, and solved the issue very quickly. Owner was upfront about pricing, polite and had great communication. He even waived the emergency fee, which he did not need to do, but we surely appreciated. Will definitely be our "go-to" call for heating/plumbing issues going forward.

Owner is very polite but his hourly rate (I found out later) is almost twice of what another reputable company charges. He came to my property at least 4 times and assured me after every visit that my furnace was fixed, until I gave up and asked him to not come anymore and called another company, who fixed the problem in 15 minutes and was not related to what HyTek was doing.
