In 1989 Doug and Casey Harrison's uncle, Phillip Harrison, drove into the family hunting lease with an unusual " hunting rig" in the back of his truck. Uncle Phillip had mounted an aluminum Genie light bulb changer designed to change light bulbs mounted in high ceilings and mounted it in the back of his truck. He then took a tripod blind and by removing the legs he was able to mount the cage portion of the blind on to the platform of the Genie light bulb changer.
