This shop was top notch from start to finish. They researched, they communicated each step of the way, the estimate was fair - and that's exactly what the charge was, they offered advice, and treated my car like it was a priority. Since the car is 34 years old and nearly stock, updating it can be a challenge - I would not hesitate to bring any vehicle to them... New wheels and suspension - drives like a different car now!
Another local Columbia shop replaced the catalytic converter on my Kia, but didn’t connect it properly. As a result, carbon monoxide was leaking into my car, making me sick and nauseous. I called around and HXC could get me in quickest. They got me in within two hours, then Hans diagnosed and fixed the problem within 10 minutes (and showed me the leak), no charge to me as it was a quick fix — Thank you so much! All the gentlemen were respectful and all in all a pleasant experience. They listened intently when I explained my issue with the car. Though they could not recreate my specific issue they showed me exactly where other potential issues in my car in person(in the shop!) but did not try to push me for a repair quote and even gave me a discount on the diagnosis.
