Bad drive thru costumer service!!!! My wife call in an order & had the person repeat the order to ensure its was correct explaining to the person that the order has been wrong in the past. The person was impatient and rushing my wife off the phone. Needless to say they got the order wrong when we pulled to drive thru. When we confronted the manager about the discrepancy she was VERY VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL ABOUT THE WHOLE THING. NEVERTHELESSS HWY 55 IN GRIFTON, NC WILL NEVER GET ANYMORE OF MY MONEY!!!!!!
I have been eating at Hwy 56 for years! I recently found there was one in Grifton. I've been here several times and 8 out of 10 my order is wrong! I stop going then today I decided to give them another try. The girl Maddy who took my order was rude and was rushing me. When she repeated back my order it was wrong. Wife and I were passing through the area and stopped with no expectations however we were pleasantly surprised. The interior is charming and fun to sit in since you don't find restaurants with a 1950s diner decor too often anymore. The staff as incredibly friendly and a joy to be served by. The food was great and the lemonade and orangeade are made with fresh squeezed fruits. Truly a wonderful establishment and the wife and I would definitely eat here again.
Food was delicious the guy working the drive thru was a very polite & respectful!
