Got a nice Enphase system with battery backup. Very responsive staff.
I have always want to become self reliant on our 3.5 acre home of 31yrs that is all electric. After much discussion with my wife we opted to go Solar. After receiving several quotes all of which was within $500, Huston had the most experience, and to me it was a gut feeling. Boy, was I right! I have only high praises to sing of Huston Solar. They were kick to provide an evaluation of the site and install the solar panels. Lucas answered all of my questions during the site evaluation to determine solar panel needs, financing, battery back up possibilities, and provide timelines. Huston Solar files the plans and pulls the permit which makes things easy. It only took them three hours to install the solar panels, electrical panel, and subassemblies. I have had my solar panels for a year without any issue.
The folks at Huston Solar are professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. We had them design our system and install solar panels and batteries to reduce our dependence on the power company. The information presented to us was clear, the installation was done quickly and well, and the system (by Enphase) has worked flawlessly. I worked with Huston Solar on a 9.6 kWh array on my detached garage. Lucas Jones was great to deal with, answering dozens of questions for me and taking the time to walk through the process with me and my wife. I struggled with the installation crew a bit. It seemed that communication and planning were a struggle for them but they did eventually get the job done. I’ve really enjoyed watching my power bill fall.
