I have been a patient of Dr. Hussain for years. I highly recommend her for anyone suffering from an autoimmune disease. She is thorough in her examinations and is patient with questions, taking as much time as you need. She's also got a great sense of humor; I always laugh when I see her, and that says a lot about a doctor I see for a chronic illness.
Dr. Hussain is extremely nice. I think she is under intense pressure from the NYU Langone Practice at 180 Pulaski Rd. Huntington to meet certain billing goals. Not her fault. My initial endocrinology appointment lasted less than 10 minutes with one change in prescription. No real dive into background info, didn't check my feet and didn't go through any of the same fact finding that previous endocrinologist have done in the past. Shame on the practice to have money the motivator over patient care. About done with NYU Langone.... read more
