Absolutely worth the drive out to Clarksburg! This place used to be an old hardware store and now it's this cozy spot right on the river with a killer beer garden. We split a pizza with a perfectly crisp crust and it might be the best I've had in the Sacramento area. Staff was super friendly, laid-back vibe, great for boaters and bikers alike. Can't wait to go back!
I got the Forester Pizza and it was really good an flavorfull, the best thing we ordered! Wife had Italian beef. It really had potential but we were let down as the Au Jus had a mysterious rosemary flavor that we did not like at all. Seemed like a bell pepper spread maybe on the sandwhich as well which was not our preferance. My son ordered the rigatoni, and although the meat sauce was good, if your going to charge me $25 please put more than 5 pasta shells, wasnt happy about that either. Excellent food, great staff!
Came here after that terrible time we tried that other spot on the water and had to wait forty five minutes for cold fries, so I was already in a mood but wow this place totally turned it around everything was hot and came out super fast and the lady who took our order actually smiled and joked with us about the weather which feels rare these days I honestly still think about the fish and chips and i barely ever fry anything at home anymore when I can just come here and get it done right and the view while you eat is just so... read more
