Alicia Hurtt moved out of the state and took my tenant's security deposit with her. I contracted with Hurtt Homes under Samson Properties Brokerage as my property manager in 2023. She seemed professional and honest... however in 2025 she moved and gave my property to another manager. In an email she claimed to have given my files AND security deposit to the new manager. Hurtt Homes indeed! Unbeknownst to the property owners, Hurtt Homes has been adding fraudulent charges to my rent. She has repeatedly charged me $50-$150 for "late charges" when I pay on the 7th of the month. The signed lease clearly states rent is late after the 15th. She even has her own "ap" in which you MUST pay the amount she sets. Avoid at all costs. Landlords, please seek professional services with professionals who are certified property managers. Hurtt Homes will leave you just that!
