Hurts, don't it?!
First time visit to a Hurts donut when I was in the area. The shop was fun and the employees were very helpful and amazing. Great variety and fun flavors. However about half of the donuts we brought home were old- they tasted dry and hard and the icing slid off within hours of taking them home despite being in an air conditioned car. Took the grandkids here they were amazed with the donuts,delicious.
I came in the store today and got donuts the worker was nice but I always look for GLOVE changing and she didn’t she was handling other products so I looked inside my bag and I had chocolate on my donuts which is why gloves should be changed but as soon as she got done with my donuts she changed gloves I would appreciate if glove changing is mandatory or common sense I have no idea what was done before and the donuts was NOT fresh when I got them other than that I like hurts I use to Love them.
What hurts the most is choking on a chocolate glazed cake donut because its so dry. What hurts even more is paying 13 dollars plus for some of the worst donuts I've had. Simple donuts done right is where perfection is. Not candy covered crap at a premium price. That being said the plain glazed was done right but I had to pay premium price because I opted for a fancy donut too. Also this place is a little cold when you walk in just like the staff.
