Kim Viola was outstanding in getting me back to functionally squatting again. I had a rotator cuff issue that prevented me from getting underneath the bar to squat for over a year. Within 3 session I had improved to get under the bar with little to no pain. I was able to return to squatting activities and train for the Maine Senior Games.. I was successful in attaining my goal in participating in the Games and know that I would have done it without Kim’s help. Thank you Kim, your the best!

I've been working with Jess for personal training at Hurt & Co for the past year, and I can honestly say I've never felt better. I'm stronger, move more easily, and recently realized just how far I've come when I completed a long hike. A year ago it would have been exhausting; this time, I had fun. Jess is knowledgeable, encouraging, and makes working out enjoyable. The gym has an open, welcoming atmosphere and I felt comfortable from day one. For the past several months, I've also been using Hurt & Co's app to follow workou... read more

I've been a member of Hurt N Co for over a year now and it is a wonderful facility and community. I joined for the barbell club, which has such a wide range of folks with different goals from elite powerlifters to folks just looking to stay moving. Great range of rogue calibrated plates, multiple combo racks and cages, many different types of barbells, accessories, etc. ITS AWESOME! The great part is everyone is very supportive of each other. I've also had the opportunity to do both a strength training assessment with Melind... read more

I attended a clinic for the upcoming senior games powerlifting event. I got a lot out of it. I was stuck between 190 and 200 lbs on my bench press I was shown the correct way to position my shoulders and in a little more than a week I was able to press 225. Thank you. Looking forward to coming back. The whole staff was wonderful. Thank you

Hurt & Co is the best! It's an inviting space and the owner Melinda is not only extremely knowledgable and strong, she will make you feel welcome right away in the community she has built. I had several physical therapy sessions there which helped me recover from straining myself at work. Everyone was so nice including the people who were working out there.
