PLEASE READ if I could give ZERO stars I would my ground rent was due in July and I made a genuine simple error in not realising it was due on a particular date .. I received NO notification / chase up letter no correspondence what so ever 2 weeks after the due date I was sent a letter from hurst management with a penalty charge of £50 !!!! More than 1hour on hold. Called previously and nothing has been delt with in a professional way or timely manner. Hence why had to call several times...
Had a really positive experience with the company when dealing with an aerial issue at my property. Good email/phone interactions and they have arranged to refund me the costs without any troubles and hopefully will be in my account soon. My one wish is that we could receive our service charges etc via email or in online format rather than paper versions delivered to the door! Would make working away much easier if a payment is needed to avoid being late.
Trying to charge over £700 on a late payment for £50 ground rent. Could easily have phoned and taken payment over the phone if they were genuinely interested in receiving the payment and not racking up late fees for leaseholders. Rude attitude on the phone and not responding to emails.
