My family and I were traveling from Phoenix AZ to Grand Junction CO the second week of July. It was an exceptionally hot day, around 110-114 degrees. We noticed the temperature gauge on our vehicle started to creep past the midway mark, especially going up hills. My brother-in-law, who resides in AZ, said that’s very common and to put our heater on to help remove the heat from the engine.
