They were chewing gum while the patient was crying and whimpering out in pain. This was for an ER visit and patient almost fainted from the pain and the doctors looked like they didn’t care at all. One of them was CHEWING gum and took forever to pull out a wheelchair because patient couldn’t walk from pain. Literally go to any other hospital but this one.

I am writing this review for informational purposes for billing issues, since HRMC has decided to out-source their billing to PFC(Professional Finance Co.). PFC claims to make contact with individuals regarding their balances due. I was called by PFC on Dec 23rd 2025 about my balance and told them I need a statement. I have still yet to receive a statement for my account, instead they choose to send to collections. I have mixed opinions about this place. When they're great, they're great, and when they're not...Yikes! Proceed with caution if you are unable to go to the Mitchell hospital.

I think its unfortunate the lack of care. There could be one patient in the ER and not a soul comes in your room for hours and you are then discharged with something stupid like “constipation” to go out of town to an ER and be admitted. Its ridiculous for the amount they charge here that they cant seem to give simple healthcare. It is outraging to receive 2000+ dollar bill for taking your blood pressure and asking you questions no meds, no iv no nothing just left in tears because the pain was agonizing.
