I went here illegally and got kicked out
The Huron Mountain club is the inspiration for the 1994 movie "Surviving the game" staring Ice-T. Man the most dangerous and challenging prey.
I went twice, in 1974 and again in 1975, and this is surely one of the most beautiful places in America. I understand that people resent that this club is private, but the land wouldn't be pristine, which it is, if the public had access. When I went, our host instructed us that anyone who smoked filtered cigarettes must not simply discard their cigarette butts, they must put them in a bag or their pockets so they could bring them back to our cabin and dispose of them properly.
