Waste of time! This dude needs to retire already, for real. Reported him for possible insurance fraud as well.
Dr. Iqbal is a great internist. I have been seeing him for over 2 years. He is the only doctor in bay city I trust. Evelyn is also great. She gets me in within a week every time I call and they have gone out of their way to help me several times.
I was assigned Dr Iqbal while admitted at McLaren. I was inpatient for 3wks then moved to Bay Special Care. Mclaren and Bay Special Care were amazing. I now know why Dr Iqbal is rated 1 out of 5 stars. He followed me from McLaren to Bay Special Care while I was a patient for 4 months. He'd show up everyday and ask the same question, "Do you still have diarrhea? Okay, Have a good day!" I know he's not a GI Dr so he might not understand what being in a Crohns flare entails. I haven't had a doctor for a few years, I have lots of issues. Went in and said my preffered way of getting results and he responded very rudely about it. Answered his personal phone while in the room with me, very unprofessional. I asked one simple test to be done, got sent to do that, and he didn't even request to have it be done! No prescription, no care, didnt even listen and charged $140 to be blatantly ignored.
My significant other has been going here for a while now and I see the issue he's struggling with. He comes home from his appointments unsatisfied with his care, and frustrated every time. They keep telling him about referrals then don't set them up, and when he comes back he gets belittled for the secretaries lack of setting up thee referrals.
