I went to Huron Gastro for a routine colonoscopy. The whole experience (except the cleansing part) was a wonderful experience. The appointment folks, check in person, pre-procedure nurse, and post-procedure nurse were all wonderful. The procedure staff was Dr. DeBenedet, Keith, and Stacy. They couldn't have been better. Dr. Debenedet let me stay awake and watch. He explained what I was seeing. When it got uncomfortable, Keith talked me through breathing. Dr. Adler and his staff are exceptional care providers. I developed colitis and was in HORRIBLE pain. The nurse on the telephone was so worried about me. When she could not reach Dr. Adler, she personally called my primary doctor to be sure that someone took care of me that day. Dr. Adler himself called after hours on his way to another meeting to set up an appointment for a procedure the next day. Dr. Adler was patient and kind with my fears as well as my condition.
