Waited over a month to get an appointment for my daughter, after I was finally seen they scheduled a follow up appointment for less then 2 weeks after. When it came time for the follow up appointment it was cancelled due to weather, when I reached back out to reschedule I was told they were unable to get me in for more than 6 weeks. Receptionists rude and no help
How do you get past the receptionist? If the symptoms are serious or if they are routine, they tell you to go to a walk-in clinic or the ER. If you ask to see a nurse, you are informed they are too busy. I'm wondering who exactly does get past these receptionists. Are they instructed by their employers to do this? I have a family physician, but I have been encouraged to go elsewhere the last 2 times I have attempted to see him in 3 years.
I was refused to be seen or receive care here even though this is my “family doctor”. I had to resort to emerge after being told I would not be seen until my 8 week prenatal appointment regardless of my symptoms & abnormal bloodwork. I was told by receptionists that he made no comment on my results so I was most likely fine. ER eventually confirmed my bloodwork was far from normal.
