This woman is extremely rude! She aggressively insulted me during our first and only meeting. I am five months pregnant and do not need to be attacked my someone who is supposed to be on my side. This happened because she is "friends" with the opposing party to my case. My brother is going though divorce and retained her. She is TERRIBLE! She told him "come by yourself" for the meeting. He had brought support with him the first few meetings. WHY did she want him to come alone? My brother is a nice guy and she tried to strong arm him into "what a great deal" his soon to be ex-wife attorney was offering to "take his dogs" (he owned before the marriage) so he wouldn't have to worry about their upkeep or care and of course all his BAH/BAQ and the car the house, well everything! I paid $100 for a consultation with this attorney. I had a similar hearing prior regarding the same circumstances that I needed to retain another attorney for. She was unable to give me a complete consultation and said she needed to familiarize herself with my prior case before she could give me an accurate consultation. About 4 days later I received a phone call from not Ms.Hurmence herself, but her secretary.
