Whilst I like the staff I am very disappointed that they are remaining private when the government is bending over backwards to give great incentives to doctors to bulk bill. I have changed my review from 5 stars to 2 because I work in a general practice and know for a fact that the surgery gets good money to bulk bill. It is very greedy of this practice to keep private. Tried to call and get an appointment for my Grand daughter is local and only 7 months old and has been sick, only needed a quick check up to check ears and chest. Practice is not flexible enough to fit in a small children which is dangerous and very poor for the local community.
The nicest people were the receptionists. A nice surprise as other Dr's places have total grumps at reception. The Dr I saw, otoh, was the opposite. It's hard to find one taking new patients but I will look for another that doesn't treat adults like 5 year olds.
Expect to wait at least 50 minutes. They triple book their GPs. We came in then 2 other patients came in. The GP saw the 2 other patients then came to see us. I told the receptionist that we have been waiting for 50 min. I asked how much longer do we have to wait. The rude receptionist didnt answer my question and just said that the GP will see us after his current patient. The receptionist didn't care that we were there for a long time. There were no sense of urgency at all.
New to the area and my experience with the Receptionists, Dr and Pathology staff was first class. Very happy and will be making this my Family Practice 😊
