I can’t say enough about how grateful I am for my OB-GYN, Dr. Cheng. When I came to her, I was anemic and struggling with fibroids. She didn’t waste any time, she listened, explained my options clearly, and scheduled my myomectomy surgery quickly. Her skill and decisiveness gave me peace of mind during a really scary time. Because of her, I now have the chance at a healthier, fuller life. She’s not just a doctor, she’s someone who truly cares about her patients and goes above and beyond.
After researching different providers in the area, I decided to go with this practice for my first pregnancy. I tried emailing them to get a new patient appointment but never heard back. After several days I called the clinic and was told to give scheduling more time to reach out. Called and emailed again weeks later. No response to email and clinic told me the same thing, keep waiting. I never ended up hearing back to schedule my appointment. Horrible system, especially if you’re charging a $300 admin fee.
I changed to this clinic because I wanted to deliver to Huntington hospital and my original OB/GYN no longer worked with Huntington. Almost every time I come in for a visit, I will have to wait at least 30 minutes before I see my doctor. So factor that into your day. The visits will last 10 minutes and I felt that my OB wasn't as personable as my previous one. Dr. Isiaka has been one of the most patient, helpful, supportive dr.’s I’ve had. I would highly recommend her to anyone wishing for a positive birth experience. She is knowledgeable and professional, and answered all of my questions and reassured me during every appointment. She never made me feel rushed or anxious, she always allowed me to advocate for myself and my needs. During labor she delivered my baby and made sure everything was smooth and I was happy and comfortable. 10/10 would recommend Dr. Vanessa Isiaka.
I’m a first-time mom who just gave birth in September. I would highly recommend Dr. Connie Cheng to anyone wishing for a positive birth experience. When I began researching providers, it was extremely important to me to find someone with a low c-section rate, who also did not conduct routine episiotomies during delivery.
