I had a very concerning experience with Dr. Isiaka during my pregnancy following a prior myomectomy in 2024. Based on my surgical history, I later learned from other OBs that my case was considered mid-risk and typically managed with delivery closer to 36–37 weeks when the pregnancy is stable. Despite this, Dr. Isiaka recommended a planned delivery at 28 weeks and stated that babies generally do well at that gestational age. I’m sorry what? Doesn’t administration get an hourly wage? Why an extra fee? I’m ok. My insurance deductible is already 5K. Having to pay $300 on top of that for an administration fee is absurd. Dr. Cheng is an amazing doctor! She took great care of me throughout my pregnancy. She answered my list of questions at every visit and didn’t make me feel dumb for whatever I was asking. She provides a sense of confidence when it comes to discussing delivery planning and made me feel secure in her abilities to deliver babies in different scenarios. She safely delivered my baby and took great care of me during the process. I highly recommend her!
I just moved here and I’m 22 weeks pregnant, high risk, their office said they won’t accept new patients and for me to contact my insurance for a provider. I did that and there are no providers available. I asked this office for help and they can’t help me. I’m being forced to go my second and third trimester without care or an OBGYN because all are allegedly booked up.
