I've been looking for tutoring for my son because he was falling behind in 2nd grade. When we received his report card at the end of the semester he was not at grade level for reading comprehension and writing. This was around April of 2025. We tried Kumon and that was more frustrating for both him and us parent as their teaching approach was to provide daily homework to be done at home. I have had great experience with Huntington Learning Center. They have some amazing teachers! My kid loves their teaching style and always looks forward to the classes. Keep up the great quality Huntington Learning Center!

Five months ago, our daughter was struggling with reading after we had to pull her out of a Spanish immersion program and place her in a traditional classroom. Suzie, the Director at Huntington Learning Center, was incredibly understanding and communicative. She worked closely with us to curate a program tailored specifically to our daughter’s needs. I noted gaps in my child’s learning when she returned to school post COVID pandemic. I also observed how hard it was for her to go to school and learn. Before the pandemic she was very bright, enthusiastic about her learning and was considered to be ahead of her grade when in reading, writing and mathematics. I've been going to Huntington as a student for a few months now for math aid and so far it has been helpful in visible improvements with my grade, and results in general. However, as a student attending, one of my main issues is the environment. This is not at all the fault of the teachers, all of them are wonderful, but the near silent environment is hard because it's easy to get drowsy, especially during longer sessions.
