Huntington Learning Center in Miller Place has been a huge blessing for our 8 year old daughter. She is only half way through the program and everyone including her school team has seen significant progress. They are person centered and cater their curriculum to meet our daughter’s specific needs. Additionally they keep communication open between her father and I and the school team. I am truly grateful for their professionalism and commitment to my child.
Huntington Learning Center has helped our child achieve success in reading and math. We have been impressed with the rate of improvement and feel it is providing a solid foundation for future academic success. Thank you for your expertise. Currently my grandson Kurt is a 2nd grader going to the Miller Place facility Tuesday and Thursday evenings since August 2024. He was having reading issues at the time we started and it appears he was at a mid kindergarten level, well below 2nd grade. With the help of his teacher, Miss Lori and others, including Alana, Nimra and Eugene, he is at and above grade level two and my family could not be happier. Just wanted to say that the Huntington Learning Center has really made a difference in my Granddaughter’s 2nd grade academic performance, and most importantly, self-esteem. After beginning the HLC, the number of “needs improvement” ratings on her report card declined for the first time this year. She now enjoys showing off her improved reading skills by reading out loud street signs, magazine covers, and other written material she comes across.
