Oh my God where do I start. When I first arrived there I was broken and when I left the pieces were put together and I only did it by meeting the people that were just like me plus the staff which is greatttt. The structure the individuality the groups the faith in a higher power there was everything I needed. My counselor was awesome Angela. My caseworker Alissa was awesome. One of the worse. My son was released early beyond of the staff members was bothering my son and they didn’t do nothing. One of the counselor of the teenagers area told my son that not every woman is meant to be a mother without knowing the damage that his words could make. Not even 24 hours of my son being back at the house, he was saying that to me, fighting… instead of having a conversation with me. i went in Jan2023 and would honestly just go back to be around all the staff. i’ve been clean since 1/6/2023, and truly believe i would not have stayed clean had i not come here. i learned so many coping skills and so much about myself- it’s a truly wonderful place.(adult)
