Worst experience with a bank I’ve ever had in my life by FAR. I opened a business and personal checking account and specifically stated and was reaffirmed multiple times that there would be no fees. I even deposited in $15K as good faith. However immediately I was getting hit with fees from the very beginning, despite requesting for and being told otherwise. I travel a lot so I’m never there. TL;DR: DO NOT BANK WITH HUNTINGTON. My husband and I opened a joint account with this bank on February 2nd. That same day, we deposited a $6,500 insurance check that was made out to me, my husband, and our mortgage company. The bank accepted the deposit without issue but informed us the funds would require approval from the mortgage company before they could be released. Wanted to take a set amount out of my IRA account. They set me up with an appointment with a guy who said "I don't really do this stuff, I'll see what I can do" Then, another banker guy comes over, and he had no clue. I was told I should reschedule with someone else on another day. INCOMPETENCE!
