TL;DR: DO NOT BANK WITH HUNTINGTON. My husband and I opened a joint account with this bank on February 2nd. That same day, we deposited a $6,500 insurance check that was made out to me, my husband, and our mortgage company. The bank accepted the deposit without issue but informed us the funds would require approval from the mortgage company before they could be released. We stop in here often. Very helpful and friendly staff.
Charged me a monthly checking fee for not having enough deposited within a time frame. When asked about the time frame billing cycle nobody could give me a straight answer on what it was or why and how each month varies. They offered to take off the fee since it was the first time even though they should’ve offered it just because the billing cycle was only 25 days for this month.
